21 Jul: Version 6.8.0 – Get Started Enhancements, Check Reference Numbers, and Payee Invitation Sort
This release makes it easier to get new users up and running, manage payee invitations at a glance, and access richer payment detail directly in reports. Six bug fixes round out the release, bringing added reliability to PayShift, billing settings, and the platform's overall interface.
➕ Improved
Get Started Widget Enhancements: Added more setup steps to the Get Started widget, making it easier for new users to complete their initial configuration and reach their first payment sooner.
Payee Invitation Sorting: Added sorting to the payee invitations table across the Name, Email, Status, Deposit Method, and Payee ID columns, so teams can quickly find and manage pending invitees.
Payee Name Matching: Improved how payee names are evaluated during import and matching, so minor formatting differences — such as special characters or name prefixes — no longer result in false duplicate payee records.
Check Reference Number in Report Templates: Added a Check Reference Number column to Report Templates, giving teams a clearer view of payment detail directly within their reports.
🔧 Fixed
6 bug fixes were included in this release, focused on improving PayShift permissions, payment routing, and general UI consistency.
PayShift: Fixed issues where the PayShift feature was incorrectly visible to users in the Print Manager role, and where payments were routing to the PayShift tab instead of Disburse.
Plans & Billing: Resolved an issue where the auto-recharge toggle was not re-enabling correctly after a user chose to keep it active.
Payments & Processing: Corrected a visual misalignment in the completed payments tab.
General UI & Copy: Fixed a display issue with the SFTP password field and corrected a padding inconsistency on the Payors button.
